Determines the current position of the mark before reading from or writing to an open file.

refNum

The file reference number of an open file.

filePos

On output, a pointer to the current position of the mark. The position value is zero-based; that is, the value of filePos is 0 if the file mark is positioned at the beginning of the file.

A result code.

AVAILABILITY

Supported in Carbon. Available in Mac OS 8.1 and later when Carbon 1.0.2 or later is present.
